Here is a mathematical model by Paul Pratt, an engineer that determines if you are in love. It’s pretty darn cool model to answer the age old question: How do I know if I’m in love?

He says there are 3 variables that sit on the X, Y, and Z axises. All 3 factors create a zone/plane. Above that zone they are in love. What are the factors?

1. sex appeal — how attracted are you to this person
2. fun/friendship - do you have a history of enjoying yourself with this person
3. nesting — if I tie my life to this person’s life am I going to get the lifestyle I want?

He also realizes that love is truly timeless. Take a look, and see if you are truly in love! =)
